Queen Maya of Silla

Queen Maya (Hangul: 마야 부인, Hanja: 摩耶夫人) was a member of the Silla royal house and the wife and Queen Consort to King Jinpyeong of Silla, 26th King of Silla. She was of the royal Kim clan. She was the mother of Queen Seondeok of Silla.

Family

  1. Princess Deokman (Hangul:덕만공주, Hanja:德曼公主). Becomes Queen Seondeok in 632.
  2. Princess Cheonmyeong (Hangul:천명공주, Hanja:天明公主). Future Queen Mother Munjeong (문정태후), wife of Kim Yongsu, mother of King Muyeol.
  3. Princess Seonhwa (Hangul:선화공주, Hanja:善花公主 or 善化公主). (There is constant debate over her identity.)[1][2][3]
